A detailed photoluminescence investigation of the thermal redshift and broadening of the excitonic line of cubic CdSe film grown by molecular beam epitaxy is presented. Free excitonic emission from the cubic CdSe film was observed at low temperature. Temperature-dependent measurement was performed to obtain material parameters related to exciton-phonon interaction by fitting the experimental data to the phenomenological model. The relative contribution of both acoustic and optical phonon to the band gap shrinkage and exciton linewidth broadening are discussed. Exciton binding energy of 16±1.5 meV was determined from the Arrhenius analysis.  相似文献

We explore the ultrafast optical response of Yb14MnSb11, providing further evidence that this compound is the first d-electron, ferromagnetic, underscreened Kondo lattice. These results also provide the first demonstration of coupling between an optical phonon mode and the Kondo effect.  相似文献

The thermoresponsive magnetic polymer composites and nanofibers were fabricated. Their thermal and magnetic properties were also investigated. Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared by coprecipitation method. Further condensation reaction was used to fabricate the double‐layer lauric acid modified Fe3O4 (DLF) nanoparticles dispersed well in water. Thermal properties of poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) and DLF/PNIPAAm composites and their aqueous solutions were measured by TGA and DSC. With the increasing of DLF content, the interaction between DLF and PNIPAAm caused the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of polymer solution to shift from 33 to 31.25 °C. The effects of concentration and pH on LCST were also studied. The DLF/PNIPAAm nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning. Their diameters were around 100–250 nm. Magnetization curves of DLF/PNIPAAm composite and nanofibers were overlapped and the saturated magnetizations were the same. Magnetic attraction behaviors of DLF/PNIPAAm polymer solution at temperatures below and above LCST were different. Aggregation of DLF/PNIPAAm above LCST enhanced magnetic moment density as well as magnetic attraction ability. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. The experimental achievement of phosphorene, which exhibits superior electronic, physical, and optical properties has spurred recent interest in other Group 15 elemental 2D nanomaterials such as arsenene, antimonene, and bismuthene. These unique and superior properties of the pnictogen nanosheets have spurred intensive research efforts and led to the discovery of their diversified potential applications; for instance, optical Kerr material, photonic devices, pnictogen-decorated microfibers, high-speed transistors, and flexible 2D electronics. Previous studies have mainly been dedicated to study the synthesis, properties, and applications of the heavy pnictogens nanosheets; however, the toxicological behaviour of these nanosheets has yet to be established. Herein, the cytotoxicity study of pnictogen nanosheets (As, Sb, and Bi) was conducted over 24 h of incubation with various concentrations of test materials and adenocarcinoma human lung epithelial A549 cells. After the treatment period, the remaining cell viabilities were obtained through absorbance measurements with WST-8 and MTT assays. These findings demonstrate that the toxicity of pnictogen nanosheets decreases down Group 15, whereby arsenic nanosheets are considered to be the most toxic, whereas bismuth nanosheets induce low cytotoxicity. The findings of this study constitute an important initial step towards enhancing our understanding of the toxicological effects of pnictogen nanosheets in light of their prospective commercial applications.  相似文献

Fluorescence‐incorporated, crosslinker‐free, pH‐ and thermoresponsive nanocarriers were prepared by the incorporation of drug molecules into the thermoresponsive nanocapsules, which composed of poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) with carboxylic acid end groups via temperature induced self‐assembling method. Well‐defined, pH‐responsive carboxylic acid group‐ended PNIPAAm homopolymer (HOOC? PNIPAAm? COOH) was synthesized by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization with S,S′‐bis(α,α′‐dimethyl‐α″‐acetic acid)trithiocarbonate (CMP) as a chain transfer agent. Rhodamine 6G (R6G), the model drug, was used for three kinds of application: First, the nanostructure fixing; second, the fluorescence‐labeling; and last, the controlled release modeling. The transmission electron microscope images showed the solution type dosing led to the encapsulation of drug molecules into the nanocarriers, while the powder‐type drug‐loading process significantly contributed to the structure preservation of nanocarriers. The controlled release behaviors with various pH values and temperatures were evaluated. Polymer electrolytes based on poly(ethylene oxide)-lithium triflate (PEO-LiCF3SO3) and poly(ethylene oxide)-lithium sulphate (PEO-Li2S4) were prepared by using solution casting method. Measurements of conductivity and dielectric were carried out on these films as a function of frequency at various temperatures. It was observed that PEO-LiCF3SO3 polymer electrolytes have higher conductivity. The interaction between PEO and Li salts were studied by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR).  相似文献

Using a bioactivity-guided fractionation method, two coumarins: minumicroline acetonide (1) and epimurpaniculol senecioate (2), were isolated from the leaves of Murraya omphalocarpa Hayata (Rutaceae). Compound 1 had been previously synthesized and was now isolated from natural sources for the first time, and compound 2, possessing a negative optical rotation value, is new. The structures and their stereochemistry were fully elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic techniques. Both compounds 1 and 2 are active in the antiplatelet aggregation assay. Interestingly, the possible acetonide artifact 1 displayed significant antiplatelet aggregation induced not only by AA and collagen but also by platelet activating factor (PAF).  相似文献

Two new coordination polymers, [Ni(H2O)(BDC)(bpp)]n ( 1 ) and [Co(mBDC)(bpp)]n ( 2 ) (BDC = 1,4‐benzene dicarboxylate anion; bpp = 4,4′‐trimethylene dipyridine; mBDC = 1,3‐benzene dicarboxylate anion), were synthesized by solvothermal reaction and structurally characterized. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction showed that 1 consists of an inclined interpenetration of 1D nets generating an overall 3D entanglement and compound 2 of 1D chains. The luminescent and magnetic properties of both compounds in the solid state were also investigated. Crystal data: 1 : orthorhombic, Pnna; a = 18.3648(6), b = 13.6854(4), c = 16.2307(5) Å, V = 4079.3(2) Å3, and Z = 8.
